In addition to being an Accredited Family Law Specialist, Kate Keating is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator, and is available to be engaged by clients and practitioners alike to conduct cost effective, results-driven Mediations.
Kate received her initial training in Family Mediation at Bond University in 1994 and for many years acted as Chairperson / Mediator for Legal Aid Queensland. Kate is a founding member of Gold Coast Mediations and, as a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Kate has the necessary skills and techniques required by the National Mediator Accreditation Standards to assist you and your spouse in reaching your own decisions by:
Identifying, clarifying and exploring issues in dispute;
Communicating with each other;
Generating and assessing options; and
Bringing your dispute or conflict to a conclusion.
The offices of Keating Lehn Solicitors are also available to be utilised for Mediations when Kate is engaged as Mediator. Our facilities allow parties to conduct Mediations either by shuttle in completely separate rooms, together in our spacious boardroom, or a combination of the two.
